Corner Space is based in the small market town of Wareham in Dorset, which is situated at the top of Poole harbour and at the gateway to the beautiful Isle of Purbeck.
Wareham itself has a range of independent shops, two small supermarkets, and a wide variety of pubs & eateries. It also has the River Frome running through the centre, and a public quay from where you can hire a kayak or motor boat to see the countryside from a different angle.
In the surrounding countryside, you’re spoilt for choice if you like being outside. Corfe Castle, with it’s ramshackled centrepiece, is 5 miles away; the Victorian seaside town of Swanage 10 miles; the 3 mile of golden sands that is Studland Bay also 10 miles; and many amazing walks and lovely bays and beaches to discover.
Wareham is served by a main line railway station, with a direct train every half hour to London Waterloo – journey time is about 2 hours 15 minutes, and is a perfect way to create a reflective pause between your normal life and your visit to and from the Still Room.
